Granted that this IS bronze 5 gameplay, but seeing as the Quinn was one of their best players, I'd like to know the answer. What was their logic behind building 2 infinity edges? Like they already had a statik shiv. Doesn't Inf EdgeShiv give 100% crit already? Why would they build 2? Is that an actual thing? Can some pro and/or Korean confirm or deny this? Just curious!
IE and Shiv will not give you 100% crit. Unless your Yasuo.
he probably thought that the passives would stack even thought they say unique passives don't stack
Infinity Edge gives 20% crit chance
Statik Shiv gives 30% crit chance
70 AD
50% crit chance
Basically the only benefit is the additional AD and 20% CDR
140 AD
70% crit chance
There are better combos
140 AD
70% crit chance
30% CDR

no, getting 2 of the same item generally isn't a good build, regardless of how good that item is. It's just b5 mentality that since IE is good, why not buy a bunch of them?
No. Its not a thing
They're building for more damage and crit chance. The Edge is the only damage item that has crit chance; otherwise it's a wasted slot that you could use for another Unique Passive, which is ultimately what people are building for.
But no, it's not a thing. It's someone who doesn't know that you can only have one unique passive of each type, or too single minded to consider getting another damage item or attack speed.
I used to stack IEs on Jayce before his W was nerfed and when IE gave 80 AD. But now if you want more AD and crit chance, you get Essence Reaver.
