Augment Sol?
Hey Guys,
currently I've been thinking about Aurelion Sol which I used to play along season 7 a bit and I've come to 50k Mastery Points (I am not too bad, still not calling myself a main or anything)
I feel like the new Runes have hit him pretty hard since Phase Rush and Stormraiders Surge are definitely not the same keystone
So I went into a custom game and tried something new, a page with Glacial Augment. The full page would be the following, I'll write my justifications down here too:
Inspiration
Glacial Augment
Slows are always pretty good for Aurelion, and since your first item will usually be
(which slows) its kind of like creating a whole field of those freeze rays which slow pretty good (50% i think?)
Autoattacking while moving is also not a big issue for Aurelion, especially after buying
enemies will be unable to get away from you, even with flash or something
I basically do not see any other keystone (besides Phase Rush, which in my opinion is unsatisfying) fitting Aurelion.
Perfect Timing A stopwatch is always good to have ;)
Futures Market Chosen through method of elimination; You don't want to wait 10 minutes for your boots as Aurelion Sol, usually getting them with first back. The minion demateralizer is pretty weird and also not that good to be honest, your push and waveclear is amazing anyways.
Approach Velocity
I feel like Approach Velocity is pretty underrated, champions with a lot of slows (--> AURELION SOL) could really use that rune; you'll happily take 10% MS towards enemies when hitting a star after
or simply autoattacking.
Sorcery Celerity MS is a pretty good stat for Aurelion Sol overall + you get AP for it, nice scaling with Approach Velocity right there
Waterwalking Again, MS as well as AP in the river. You are gonna roam a lot, so you can make good use of that too.
For the build it basically stays the same:

If needed, take one of those:

Please tell me how you feel about that, and if that could be viable. I will play a few games with it as well ;)
Thanks guys!
