I look at Elise's stats on paper, and they seem good; yet, why does she have such a low overall win rate? Also, although irrelevant, is she going to have an upcoming skin soon, seems like riot is ignoring her :C.
It's called being over-nerfed...
She's really hard to play well.
The skillset that the pro's developed using her during her glory days was enough to justify continuing to use her as Riot continued to Eviscerate and gut her over. and over. and over. She's still a viable champ in the hands of a skilled player, but when average joe gamer sees Meteos gettin paid and gettin' laid using her... he goes to his own game, and looks patently incompetent. She's another Lee-Sin, ostensibly.. she's a great champ when you've got the mechanical skills to use her, but holy crap.. it takes a lot to learn how to play her.
I climbed pretty high in the Dominion Ranks with her as a bot-lane.. After the 3rd set of nerfs, the Spider E Nerf was when I threw her away in disgust. Too bad too.. she was my favorite champ for a long, long time.
^ but also her numbers got shot to shit over the past 12 months. Even when you play her really well you can still just get rekted because your damage and tankiness aren't what they used to be.
