Clarification: Bug, Coding Hindsight, or WAI?

Malzahar's passive is broken by Nocturne's ult, even if Malz is not the target of the ult itself. Given that all that happens is a temporary reduction of vision (not even an actual 'blind') and is not CC or Damage as the passive dictates it breaks under, I question whether this is intentional or merely something that slipped through the cracks, like Syndra being able to throw Baron.

malzahars passive is also disabled by tf's destiny, the same can be said with banshees for the two.

It's a debuff, from a champion, meaning it will break malzahars passive, since its technically a free banshee's veil.

The odd thing is, I don't ever recall seeing it broken by Destiny, so I can't confirm if that's true or not. All Destiny does is give Vision, and Malz's passive isn't broken by Ashe's Hawkshot.

If it does cancel destiny it's probably a bug, but being used up on Paranoia sounds intended, nearsight is considered a crowd control - you can QSS Noc ult, spell shield it etc, so if Malz's innate blocks it, it works consistently with rest of the game.

Hawkshot itsekf grants vision. Destiny gives him all vision of you and your team. The icon that appears over champs when it is active is part of the debuff.

Malz passive should work just like Banshee's Veil. If there's some differences, it should be brought up to Riot. Sounds like testing is in order.

Testing is definitely in order. I'm not even sure if it would be broken by WW toggling his W at the correct amount of HP now..
