Like many of you, I too once believed yasuo was perfectly fine to lane against
But then I got out of silver and started facing one trick yasuo mains who taught me the meaning of no counter play. The end

I ran into a yasuo main that showed me how they one trick... it was kindof annoying but then I studied faker in a similar matchup and the next time I didn't have any trouble.
I still think yasuo is fine. btw I won both games
The first because I don't have to win lane to win the game The second because I'm an analytical person who tends to learn how to deal with things he encounters at least once
Yasou is pretty easy to lane against. The problem is most people dont think. So look at their play style. They poke a bit while they gain their shield passive, then they dash through some minions to increase the damage, then jump on you, do damage, once you hit them to take their shield away, they dash back away and reppeat. So what do you do? Simply, poke them. if youre mid, simply auto them so they lose their passive. Without their passive they wont be dashing into you to do the damage and make it out untouched. Next, dont stand next to minions. It's sad this has to be said, but its pretty logical. If you stand inside or near minions, you make their job easier by being able to poke you and get cs. stand away from them where you can auto and make them chose between poking or csing. Next is pretty logical as well, build early armour. Thornmail is his biggest weakness. Dont be scared to rush armour first instead of damage. That being said about any champ. I see too many people losing against an ad top, and still keep going for damage knowing theyre just gonna lose making their ad useless.
yasuo's problem isn't no counterplay, it's having a good early game for a hyper carry just because his dashes allows him to be good in early game
