You aren't alone bud. I am still on the 0 train after I asked the other team to report someone for cursing at me. After 3 weeks of email I got almost an answer as to why I was punished. "Not being positive" was the answer I finally got from the 5th support member I spoke to.

Hey there,
Chat restrictions are there to let you know that your chat behavior isn't what we want to see in League of Legends. Look at your chat log under the lens of "is this helping my team? Is it positive?" to understand where we're coming from. To see what sort of behaviors are positive for a Summoner in League of Legends, please take a look at the Summoner's Code:
http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/get-started/summoners-code/
If others are being negative, arguing back with them won't stop them. While muting is good, you have to be the bigger person and ignore them. It's not worth risking your account by stooping to someone else's level and arguing back to them.
I'm sure that if you follow the Summoner's Code, you will not be perceived as a negative player and will reform. Unless you have any other questions I'll be closing this out.

What aggravates me more than anything is the vagueness of their responses. They linked me to the summoners code but didn't quote really anything. When I actually gave them a well thought out response they continued to dance around proving the only thing they care about is saving face.
