Auto Attack Cancellations

Sometimes my AA's randomly cancel or sometimes the aa makes contact, sound and graphic but does 0 damage. Have you ever encountered this problem? It really hurts when you're constantly cancelling auto attacks? Maybe Im clicking my clicks to fast?? Is there a way anyone has found to fix this problem, thank you!
