Does Infinity edge stack with the molten edge orn item
Like if you buy an infinity edge after you got the molten edge item
Like if you buy an infinity edge after you got the molten edge item
No. Both share the same unnamed unique passive.
Why the hell did you get downvoted?
Unnamed unique passives on different items normally stack, I don't think molten edge + IE should work but it might if they are coded as different items.
They're coded the same, I tried it with rabadons deathcap and rabadons deathcrown.
It didnt stack
Well I'm glad I don't have to deal with 300% damage adc crits, but riot should probably name the passive to keep it in line with other interactions.
I don't think its needed. Its a noob trap really.
Aren't naming passives to prevent said noob trapping? :/
Noobs are people too!
Noobs are people? That "people" are loosing my games..
That "people" are loosing my games..
And I bet you're one of those people who are losing your games.
I'd imagine with IE it's coded as "Your crit becomes 250%", and not "You gain 50% more critdamage."
Naw there are other critical damage modifiers such as crit damage runes and they've always played nicely with I.E. (stacked additively)
not how it works actually, yasuo deals reduced crit damage and ie does not set this to 250%
Special mention goes to the crit damage modifier on Miss Fortune's Bullet Time. Which, unlike Yasuo's, only modifies the bonus damage.
The Ornn items are still coded as being the exact same item as their lesser version, with mild differences, due to the nature of the upgrades, so they will not stack.
They would stack, like lethality because it's an UNNAMED unique passive.
Unless Riot hard coded against it, you get both effects.
They're coded as the same item and thus follow the rule of "two or more of the same item's unique effect do not stack with themselves".
The Ornn item is just the same item in code. It just has a different name and adjusted stats but the items in code would be the same. It should probably be listed on the tool tip for players to not get baited.
There's always the Practice Tool to find these things too ;)
Yeah let me just add ornn on my team in the project tool
they have different item codes and the passive isnt named so maybe
No. The +Crit Damage passive is unique.
I forsee a bug in the future where they can stack.
