I'll go play Overwatch thanks...
At least Blizzard know how to balance a game mostly and do not play favorites like Riot does all the time. I recently played a game and realized exactly why I hate this game and left it orginally. No matter where I am in a game of Overwatch, winning or losing. I never feel like I'm effectively useless within the game and cannot turn a loss around.
It is just not fun, because of ADC's.
ADC's like
completely ruin the game FOR ME (IN MY OPINION) because essentially, even if she dies 50 times at the start of the game, she can still dominate in the late game. Its pathetic that she is about the ONLY champion in this damn game that can do that and she is continually looked over like Riot thinks that its a good design to have a character based solely on right click auto-attack procs that NEVER miss.
She easily melts takes, making playing most of them almost utterly pointless and she never feels like she ever gets punished for really playing bad due to the fact that her endgame is so damn powerful.
Riot did the marksman update and gave most ADC's in the game a huge power boost
etc (something they are about to do with assassins) and yet they cannot be asked to do anything of consequence in the "Mage" update, rather then break things that never needed changing in the first place, like
and
Meanwhile giving huge additional damage to other mages that never needed it in the first place,
and
.
I'm sorry but when you look at the differences between AD champions and AP champions. You find that AP Champions generally have to sacrifice any form of mobility or escape while most AD champions, bruisers, ADC's ect, most have that for absolutely free. It makes the game feel completely frustrating and unfair just because I don't want to play a champ that is promoting carpel tunnel syndrome by spamming right click.
We have had this marksman crap for half a year now and people still complain its overpowered. ADC is the ONLY role in the meta that is absolutely needed, whereas if you take a game like Overwatch (not completely the same but you get the idea), there is a massive variation in team composition and strategy. Even Heroes of the Storm feels more balanced then this does.
I'm sorry, I really used to like League but I just do not recognize the game anymore. Its become more a test of reaction speed then actual strategy or skill and that just does not sit that well with me.
I know you will downvote my opinion but I remind you that it is my opinion and I am just giving some feedback which may explain why League is losing people to other titles on the market. The game just doesn't feel fun or fair anymore and that is partly the communities fault for abusing whatever mistake or oversight Riot makes.
League just feels like a stale shadow of its former self. Riot are trying too hard to be "edgy" and forgetting the basics that made this game great in the first place. There is only so many times you can "reinvent the wheel".
and others. Late game champions are late game champions. It's your own fault and the fault of your team if you can't end the game before they reach their late game.
