Annie Counter

Really riot? You gave Annie a counter on top of her head? Now is really hard to get someone by surprise.... No one else has a counter on their CC why Annie does?

I don't care about the counter. When ever I attack Annie I plan on being Ult stunned. I haven't read the rework notes yet but her new ult where Tibbers runs you down fast as fuc, it's dumb. Even if you kill here if she ults that fight she is gonna trade 1 for 1 most the time now. Annie was always an easy goto champ but now idk what to think with that run down after death. Like a damn Sion bear. Annie Have you seen my bear Tibbers? Sion No! Fuck, I'm not tibbers!!! RRrrrrrr!!!

As a player that plays his fair share of Annie I can tell you that new Tibbers is overall nerfed unless you are some big lump of meat like Nautilius or you plain simple ignore him and let him auto you. New Tibbers is slow and the enraged mode (that activates whenever you get stunned) is simple made to catch up so he can do 1 (maybe 2) auto attacks on you. His base initial damage and his scaling were nerfed severely, plus his attack damage and attacks speed were also nerfed, his movement speed boost was removed and to top it of all, his response is clunkier whenever you are controlling him manually (if you let him do his own thing then he is a tad smarter). Oh did I mention that once you died you have no control over him?

While Tibbers got small nurf from 80/20 to 65/15 He gained an great after death asset, the run down. Plus Her Incinerate got buffed in range which is kind of a big deal and will stop the missed W due to auto procs and other silliness. So I'd say she at least breaks even, because tibbes still hurts, if not a buff on the after death run down.

A good Annie is not a suicide bomber thou... a good Annie will nuke the priority target and then linger on the outskirt of the battle providing extra damage with her Q and possible a second proc of her passive. The After death is really not something that you want to do. The incinerate was not really buffed but more like normalized since it had some clunkier reaction whenever it was on the outside of the range (the animation and range didn't match). I went a few matches with her and sincerely she feels weaker. I lost around 3 or 4 kills due to tibberrs being unable to last auto the champ and without his Aura he couldn't burn them by chasing them. The enraged mode also made him lose focus of who I wanted him to auto, old Tibbers would chase whatever champion you click on until they go out of range, new Tibbers chase whoever get stunned by Annie and thus a few times I ended up with Tibbers changing from the carries (that were being zoned by him) to the tanks which I stunned just to peel them out of me which resulted on the carries being able to focus me again.

Then I go to his shield.... The longer shield means that it posssible could stay on all the time (you had like 2 sec of actually opening). And sure the overall effect wasn't as strong but by keeping him on all the time you could juggle a lot of damage and come in and out of the fights feeling tankier... 50 armor and MR is actually around 2k gold value and woudl feel strong and it was a strong deterrent for adc. New Shield can potentially block more damage but on practice it ends up blocking less and being on CD for way longer, plus adc can kill you way faster now because of it as well so if you decided to nuke the enemy mage or there is more than one ADC per team you will die right after your initial burst

It can be used to your advantage too. Who's going to suddenly drop balls and man up when they see Annie with 4 stacks coming at em?

You will get kited if you try, you are still a mage with very short range and limited mobility. Before you coudl keep stacks at 2 or 3 and get them by surprise now is really hard since they won't come close to you as soon as you have 2 stacks.

i don't think anyone was ever really suppressed by an Annie ult stun unless they went brain dead and forgot it was Annie. After a point in the game I just always assume I will be stunned by Annie and if I can fight knowing it will happen I will.

Every champion has counter on their cc.item 3140

Because bronze is still a rank. Counting to 4 is legitimately something riot does not think they can do without a giant sign doing it for them.

lol you didn't even have to count. Just look for the animation of swirls around her.

Nobody walked around with swirls. They held it at three then pressed e->R.
