Why does Ranked games give you nothing when you lose?

The reason why i am making this thread is because i want riot to change the ranking generator because my brother just got down to bronze 5 because he gets in with horrible players like a Elise top that feeds or an XinZhao that feeds a Akali or a Riven and he carries his team and then gets demoted because his team sucked. I think you should get ranked points if you lose because if you are playing a broken champion like Yasuo that needs to be nerfed and if you carry your team with 600 kills and you lose because your team is garbage then you get demoted like was is that. Now my brother is playing Donger (Heimerdinger) to get out of bronze and get into gold so he does not have to play with a garbage teams. But if you just fed then you should lose points instead of gaining. I think the points generator should be on kills and wins.So if you win the game you will get points and if you have like 20 kills and 10 deaths you would get 50 points and if you win you should get 50 points + the kills.

Because League of Legends is about killing that nexus and gaining the 50 gold for it.

Not about csing, warding, killing, never dying, executing your champion flawlessly, building the proper items.

None of these matter if you are unable to make them equal the destruction of the enemy nexus.

You could be playing the most OP champion of all time, have 1000 kills and 0 deaths be level 500 while your enemies are only level 18 but if you can't take out the enemy nexus, then those enemies are better players than you for having destroyed your nexus. despite having so many less levels and items and gold.

Killing the nexus is the only important thing in league of legends. everything else is just things that allow you to do your main mission. It's up to you to do it.

If you have 20 kills and never do anything with it, you're not carrying the game, you're just fed. Now, I don't know how your brother plays, I've never seen him, I never will. But if he's getting these "so called garbage teams", then you have to run the counter-arguement that those same teammates are getting "so called garbage teams, which include your brother." Not trying to be mean, but his mmr placed him there. The whole point of a RANKING system is that you earn points when you win, thereby moving up, and lose points when you lose, thereby moving down. If people earned points for losing, it would trend the average mmr upwards and your brother would still be in bronze 5, just with a larger number that means nothing because of "inflation" from gaining points for losing.

Mastery grade does not equal carrying your team, nor does it equate to actually playing that champion well. I've had completely shit games that got me an S and I'm like, "how was that an S? I can get better scores than this on champions I know how to play and only get a B, what gives?" So... yeaaah....

As for Yasuo... I wouldn't mind seeing him and a few others nerfed into the ground, but I do not know balance. Trust me, I do not know balance. I would never be able to balance a wet paper bag.

If you took a slightly different bent to it, like maybe referring to the grades received at the end of the game as a factor in determining the MMR placement, then maybe you would have a few more people being positive about this thread. ;)
