Either way at the very least you could half the cost of harassing an enemy with it if you also kill a minion if you plan it well.
I hope so, I'd love to see a 150% mana refund, plus the refund from tear. It'd make clearing waves so much more sustainable.
I think it would be worded like "For each unit killed, 50% of the mana cost is refunded" if it works that way, but if it does work that way, they definitely need to reword.
It refunds 150% if you kill 3 units with it.
