Hi so when playing top/adc/mid are you allowed to take your teammates camp when you have nothing to do or is that griefing/rolestealing since you're putting your jungler behind... Just curious if anyone can put any input of an official statement or what they know. Thanks

(i'm a jungler main btw. I just want to know in the future if i play more roles if there is ever a time its more viable to take a creep rather than to stay in lane)

The longer the game goes the less bad it can be generally speaking. There are some cheeses that you can play to get level one before your laner, but generally speaking stay away from your camps unless you are asking for red or blue. Now if the Jungler is ahead in levels from the enemy jg, then you should not fret about taking an allies camp (unless it is a buff), but should prefer to take enemy jg camps, plus there are usually better things that you could be doing with your time than farming the jg.

Use consideration please. If your jungler isn't ahead and his team takes all of his remaining camps(considering some might've been stolen by enemy) then they kind of just fuck him entirely. Also, note smite damage is based on lvl so if you are taking jungle farm all game and he gets out smited then don't give him shit.

your team is only as strong as its weakest member

its harder to try to win with 1 fed champ and 4 under fed champs then it is to win as a team that is evenly fed

I just afk farm in the jungle and wait for camps to respawn untill they stop taking my camps. if they don't ask, they wont get it. ping for a camp and see what the jungler says, he might have a pathing in his head or something to lvl up or so. same with buffs, if i ping you to get the buff, then get it. if i don't, it means it's for a future plan. don't think jungle is something braindead and useless after a certain lvl cause you'll lose more than you think cause of that.

i don't take jungle camps pre-20 if my jungler is ganking for me. if not, well, something is going to have to supplement the ganks i'm not getting.
