So, why are buffs going out at all?

Just wanted to confirm whether it's legitimately Riot's intention to make this game instant-kill simulator 2018 or not. Safeplay is currently only rewarded early and only in some situations, many veterans are saying that it's the worst pre-season they've seen yet, only to be shot down by people that are enjoying their current meta picks.

We all know Runes are currently heavily imbalanced. I personally love the attempt at varying playstyles (though it's very rare that you have the choice of more than 1 keystone with your particular champ), but dislike the effect they've had on the game as well as the lack of attention they've been getting compared to champions that Riot wants to bring up to that oneshot tier. Will runes ever be fixed, or are we just going to see a ton of overscaled base stats, that just go further out of hand for 2 months should a rune update come that finally synergizes with their kit?

Champions should be getting nerfed if anything. The game is hardly strategic anymore, it's just filled with champs that scale too high off of items that are too cheap. Top lane bruisers and tanks can't even afford their builds before they have to join a teamfight against an ADC that will thrash them even if their bots went even. Give up on winning against a tank support; they'll be diving your enchanter at level 3 with no ganks; even if they die they're going even at least. Oddly enough, your tower is where you feel safest, and that's exactly where they want you to be.

Morgana was weak? No she wasn't, she was exactly where she should have been; she's a safe laner who greatly contributes in teamfights with her high utility kit, people simply didn't play her in mid because other champions were more broken. Yasuo is perfectly fine pre-buffs, his damage still scales high enough to oneshot a carry mid-lategame (and possibly take another person out with them) and his kit is incredibly safe, making him hard to punish throughout the game. It's other champions that are broken, not them. Why are you fixing things that don't have problems?

Also, before you look up my rank, yes I am silver this season, but so is most of the playerbase.
