I Hate Heimerdinger. What is the counter play? Why is his play-style PvE based?
Maybe you can help me out. I would like to know, what is the counter play to Hiemerdinger? Because I can’t stand playing agent him when I sit under my turret and watch him play PvE. Yeah just knowing what, if any, counter play would be good.
I also have a 2ed question. Why does his play-style exist in a PvP game? if you look at it from a game development side, this type of play-style where u can force your opponent to not approach you (ever) is not healthy for a PvP game. There's not one positive thing I can see that the champion brings to the game. That character gets to just free farm or just easily kill the jungler if they come, as their opponent is forced to watch from under tower or always take a losing trade. Even in an all-in Heimer just walks away as the chasing enemy is dying to his turrets, again not PvP. If Heimer's whole job is to run away from the 5 enemy players, until he can PvE again, then why is he in a PvP game? if the enemy players come then they will kill themselves on his turrets as he waits for them to realize, they can’t kill him without a 1 v 3 if he has flash. so then he just goes back to the one vs 0 game-play of pushing towers as his team plays 4 v 5. I understand some champs are better at split pushing and absorbing pressure but they all have counter play that normally requires 2 people at most to guarantee a kill or punish of a split push. Heimer takes at least 3 people if he’s not behind, which no Heimer is ever behind if he’s not brainless. This makes his PvE play-style even more rewarding.
The inability of a team to punish a Heimerdinger, the fact that almost every champion hard loses lane to him, and the fact that he can play PvE as his opponent sadly watches with no counter play, is the reason why I believe Heimerdinger is anti-fun and I hate that champion.
people don't take the effort to complain because so few people play Heimer. After I play a game against Heimer, every time, I have to take a break from playing. Because I'm so frustrated that I know if i have to play against another one in my next game I’ll be so tilted that I'll stop playing for at least a week. I know all my friends feel the same way too, but the one saving grace is that so few people play Heimer that people usually forget how bad it is to play against him before they run into him again. That’s very sad, and I know many people feel the same but most people bet on that they won’t have to play against him much so they don't take the effort to complain. I've felt this way ever since I started playing the game 3 years ago, but I also didn't play against him much and would forget how bad it was until I saw him again. I just finished a game against a Heimer, and I didn't want to keep making the same mistake of not complaining about something, that I feel ruins a game that I love to play. Thank you for your time, and I’m looking forward to your response.
