Warwick Q unresponsive

Having a little trouble pulling off WW's secondary Q function. When holding Q to perform the transition behind my target it often just does just the basic bite attack but nothing else.

I've been really into this rework and watched a lot of streamers play the PBE and many people said the same thing. Now I've been able to experience it myself having my first go of the rework on live.

I don't know if this is the right place to suggest, but I think the best way to make this spell 100% reliable and more fun to use would be to double press Q to trigger the second move part of the ability if needed. For example one press of Q would lunge and bite for damage then you could have 0.25 seconds (subject for tuning) to hit it again to pull off the optional flip. I'm sure that would crack the problem.

His Q is really clunky and confusing to use, its the most awkward ability to use in the game. There are also some reports that the skill is bugged and not working properly so I dunno.

I have a lot of problems with this ability.

  1. The range on the skill is VERY short, so I'm spamming Q just to land it when I'm in range, BUT when I'm spamming it, it's pretty impossible to get the secondary effect of the lunge.
  2. When I do pull off the lunge, the landing animation takes so long that I can't move or get another auto attack off right away, so the target has moved past me (or around me) by the time I can move again, so I'm finding myself having to animation cancel using E or a Hydra just to do anything right after lunging, and that's only IF I get the lunge... I'm very not keen to how this ability works at the moment.
  3. Also, the attach component of the move doesn't feel very good when you're on the receiving end of it.

Suggestions:

  1. Have the Q lunge only when the target is below 50% HP
  2. Holding the Q for a second (or two) changes the ability into a skill shot that lunges WW in the target direction, and if he hits something he jumps behind the target

PLS do something to fix this wonky interaction.
