Does Resistance Illaoi E Particles seem misleading and mess with anyone else eyes?

I played against the skin for the first time today and kept trying to doge hitboxes that weren't there because of it. I've never been affected by particles in my five years of playing but this genuinely confused me and actually hurt my eyes trying to distinguish it. 3:10 in the video for ref.
