Autofill is still crap, sad that the topic has been ignored for years

Here is my main example of why autofill is complete bs: I dodged one game because guess what autofilll....next game get my role, even the champ I want. It seems to be a great comp for our side. Keep in mind this is also solo/duo ranked que. Our Kled in top plane dc's, so we have to remake. Guess what happens next? You guessed it, stupid autofill. So I dodged that because i refuse to take part in it. Now i have a 30 min ban, yet the Kled will only get 5 min. All this after wasting 20 minutes being in the game the requeing. What is the point of even having a draft system if you cant pick your role? I do not want to hear any crap about the amount of players on and what role they want because if there was no autofill a lot more people would play, not to mention less would troll/smurf. I mean someone can lose internet because of their isp while in champ select and they get the ban while trolls keep trolling till/if enough report them.

Well the thing is, instead of dodging your auto fill and losing lp and getting long queue timers, just play it, so that you gain autofill protection.

It won't KILL you to support.

autofill has reduced q times by up to 50% in certain q's, the system clearly works and isn't going anywhere.

Were you playing before role select was even a thing? You'd just have to hope people would let you have your role, or risk some entitled asshole trolling because they didn't get what they wanted. That's why you didn't play ranked unless you were at least somewhat proficient at all roles.

That shouldn't be any different, don't play ranked unless you are basically proficient at all roles. Don't dodge, or you deserve your penalty.

The new role-ranked system should help your autofilled games exponentially, bc Riot does understand that despite the many benefits, some people just don't jive with the system, and they spent a lot of time making those games where you ARE autofilled more fair.

But yeah, autofill isn't going anywhere.

Ugh why does my favorite support have to reply with a troll answer: dont dodge autofill to get autofill protection....smh or you could, you know not have autoflll that no one likes(high ranks and streamers included) It wont kill to play support, which i could understand, but the thing is, it is a draft mode pick not blind. If your reply is not going to be constructive to the community or offer a solution, you're better off not replying. This was more towards the community to get their thoughts, since I already knew it would be ignored, like it has for over the past 6 years. @Malroth my point is not about being proficient at other roles but to get the roles you pick. At least offer the choice to wait for the role you choose. Getting your role ,then someone else dodges should be an automatic autofill protect, not you have to be another role because 1 person trolled 9 others . I did play before the roles, i liked it more because at least it didnt force you into a role like autofill does. Regardless if riot autofills you, or if you changed roles by communicating with your team, you are still filling another role which makes autofill pointless. All this because some people don't have patience and complain the que is too long.
