first off was the person who came up with this even a jgler? If he or she was were they a jg who constantly got stomped in their own jg? I think its ridiculous so does every1 whos good at the game, ur punishing ppl for being good and giving handicaps to ppl who aren't whats next ? are u guys gonna give a free 3000 gold to the jg who never ganks its ridiculous. ruins the entire factor of imposing ur will on the enemy jg u can kill them in their jg take all there camps and as soon as they take 1 camp its back to even pretty much. pretty much takes away an entire strategy depending on matchup sometimes I would focus on making their jg useless so he couldn't affect my lanes now its near impossible u can kill him 5 times in his jg and as long as he gets 1 camp hes back in the game so stupid, no1 likes this catch up xp except ppl who get trashed on in their jg every1 who is good at the game hates it I know I'm not the only 1 to complain I see streamers and ppl in general say they hate it its garbage and the most stupid thing in the game punish good players give handicaps to ppl who get trashed in their jg. makes zero sense if ur getting trashed in ur jg and cant get any camps or xp don't play jg or learn matchups take this out of the game ruins half the strategy of being a good jg basically just saying its ok u can be a mediocre jg and be just fine make it back to how it was set amount of xp no catch up xp if ppl are getting trashed in their jg and cry about it simple don't play jg or learn matchups and get better in general ignorant to punish good players and give handicaps to ppl who are getting trashed . its harder to kill some1 in their jg and take all their camps than it is for sum1 to learn matchups and get better to prevent it its too easy for bad jgs to be relevant rn they can feed and lose 5 of their 6 camps long as they get 1 camp their relevant

jgl is the widely accepted term to refer to jungle so its essentially a contraction at this point so ill let it slide.

Jungles need something to stay relavent after takimg time to gank. Or do you want jungle to constantly be 2-4 levels behind mid laners? Well that aint right. Mybe you should just learn other roles and stop being salty over probably one game where you got spanked by a jungler.

nothing infuriates me more when i'm playing jungle and solo kill the enemy jungler three times in a row and systematically destroy him, just to see him get one lucky gank off, for my laner was a idiot, to then see him go from level 9-11 near instantly.

Me; well all my hard work just got thrown into the gutter.

Platinum player in a nutshell, complains about jungle XP. Well first off, just counterjungle them. And why don't you just war their jungle and kill them when they go for camps??? This is basic, but I don't expect plat junglers like you to understand.

before this was in the game there was no problem keeping up with mid in xp anymore than now time ur ganks properly with ur pathing and camps its fine not concerned with xp to keep up with mid my only concern is wats the point of dominating the enemy jg does nothing after 1 camp hes back in the game even in xp. its almost like wen kids come in last place and ppl wanna give them a trophy lol riot just coddling the babys who aren't good at jg those 1s that get carried every game and it is a team game soloing sum1 in their jg isn't everything but it is something rn its useless but it shouldn't be used to be no greater feeling than soloing sum1 in their jg then taking their camps and watching them try to gank 3 lvls behind u all game

Alright, first off this was one of the most difficult things I have read in a while because of the lack of capitalization and punctuation so excuse me if I misinterpreted the whole of your argument but here are my thoughts.

If you have a top laner that gets stomped in laning phase and you are playing ADC who did really well, do you tell him "Back off all the CS, you're useless, you don't get another CS this game because you did so bad" or do you say "just farm up X lane, play safe, let the wave push to you and get back into this game"? If you're a "good player" as you said many times in your post, I would assume you tell them to farm and get back into the game so they can help your team. Having experience that your enemy can't steal away from you pour itself towards you endlessly every 30 seconds is easy to soak up especially when you don't even need to last hit the creature, you could literally just stand nearby and get the experience.

In the jungle, it's a whole different story. If you don't last hit the creature, you don't get the experience. If you get stomped early game, your main source of farm is always up for an enemy to steal. I believe that is the biggest reason as to why it exists. The CS that it is your job to clear, can at any point be stolen from you and you denied all of the experience of that CS. If it wasn't that way, you could have an enemy jungler like Evelynn just run around just out of camouflage range and deny you levels because you would split the EXP both ways; it's a terrible idea and you would both be severely under-leveled but that would be a way of denying you EXP and keeping your champion weaker for a time. I think that's why it still exists and why they got rid of it for regular minions. The enemy can never deny you gaining the experience from their minions because the range to get it is absurdly long, but a simple invade and hit of your Smite summoner could deny a level and an item and that is why I believe it remains.

Personally, I would also like to see it gone as I play aggressively and often will shut down my enemy jungler early, only for him to come back 25 minutes later and be an incredible offensive force for the enemy. But on the other hand, if that were to happen to me and I get shut down early, I'm glad I know that I can farm up and still be relevant later on in the game if I play correctly. It's a difficult situation but I think for the reasons listed above, it should remain.
