REALLY?! Only 1 RANK DOWN ? What is the difference?

So as u may know riot is resetting master + but in diamond they are demoting players by 1 tier ... riot do you really think that this will fix the problem with rankeds ? im sick of getting people who were 5 seasons silver /gold and now they are diamond 4 or even higher in almost one and half month? how is demotion by 1 tier help to this problem ? u know there is really big differences between real diamond player even if he is in diamond for 2-3 years and someone who was just gold and now is boosted from the system. IM SICK of this games ( NOOB JUNGLER NO GANK LVL 3/ Why u Farming on lvl 11 group / BG NOOB jungler not ganking and having ppl who think they are f-in gods because they are now diamonds so they tell u how should you play even tho they have negative win rate/KDA .... )

RIP SEASON 9 DIAMOND = GOLD = DIAGOLD SEASON 8 by the end of SEASON 9 WILL BE THE TRUE RANK.[zombie-brand-facepalm]

As far as I understood it Riot lowered every Dia+ player's MMR because people were getting wayyy too much LP and losing too less (there were apparently people in Master+ with a sub 40% winrate), and because of that MMR lowering those players LP gain is now completely fucked. So, in an effort to fix this Riot is lowering each Dia+ player's rank (not their MMR though) by 1 meaning players will have better feeling LP gains and losses again.

This is all around positive because it means players who are good will have an easier time climbing again now thanks to better LP gains, and bad players who only got to Dia+ by luck will be a little closer to getting demoted back to wherever they belong.

And heres the thing about people in masters+ being reset to 0 LP: No one will be in D1 at the beginning, meaning you will likely vs against everyone who was already at the top of the ladder instead of most of the bottom half of diamond.
