selling a tear and undo it

i noticed that your tear starts from 0 again if you sell it and undo it. is this intended? because i don't think it should be this way. undo should mean undo. it hurts like hell selling this thing accidentally..

I'm guessing that after the bugs they had with people selling/undoing stacking items they decided to play it safe and reset them completely.
