Ranked Protection
INTRO: So as I write this, I am trying to kill a 5:00 minute wait to queue as I was match-made with a player, who spammed chat "TOP OR FEED" during champion select until he couldn't post for a min, then proceeded to resume spamming again. After a few moments it started spamming "By the time you read this your mom will be died." amongst many other things. I have this 5 min wait because after waiting to see if anyone would dodge and spare my wife and I from getting stuck in a RANKED game with a feeder/afker and sitting 20+ mins in an inevitable loss, possibly being stuck in it for 45+ mins because two people believe that we can pull a win out with one tower, 3 players, and a 13-70 score. It is growing increasingly fustrating to get games like this non-stop. I am a good player, I make mistakes, I might not be diamond, but given a decent team, I could easily be high gold. However, for every game I get a win, I get to around 50 LP and BAM!!! FEEDERS (not accidental feeding, FEEDERS!!! the kind that run down mid lane and let the enemy get kills, cause someone took their lane) AFKERS and KEYBOARD JOCKEYS running into 1v4s when they need to be in base dropping minions like flies (This isnt even accounting for the teams that try to baron at several very bad times (including when the other team is (2v5), when the team is mid and saw them go in, and when the team is dead, there is one tower left and we can end it but no lets baron! and drag it out 5 more mins so they can possibly turn it around and win)) Anyway to the point of my post, and im going to tab down for those who dont want to read:
MAIN POINT:
We need some kind of way to vote quit during champion select for those times that you get a match up that just isnt viable. And while we are at it, how about an option to FF <5:00 Min mark with no loss/gain of LP, IP, or whatever.... because honestly.... the way things are going now, Im losing a lot of interest in the game because I can't enjoy the full game because the only response to my problems have been "Dont play ranked then" I want to play ranked, but I dont want to get screwed by players who cant play fair
