Who is the best splitpusher and 1v1 in the game

Well Gp can split push 2 lanes at once......
lol
are what i consider good at what they do
Yi's a pretty good duelist against a wide assortment of Champions if you know how to use his Q and W correctly.
Yi actually loses to a lot of duelest at equal skill level, since he's more of an assassin. Duelests with CC tend to crush him, unless he's adequately fed on the squishy champs and carries
Duelists with CC tend to have only one form of hard CC, and often telegraphed to an at least small extent. This is what I mean when I said using his Q and W correctly, because especially if you're familiar with Cowsep's play style on Master Yi, one should more than easily negate hard CC with Alpha Strike and high amounts of burst with Meditate.
I agree that proper use of Alpha strike is a nice turn around, but when I think of Duelest with cc, WW and his ultimate i obvious but not what I meant. Volibear comes to mind first, assuming he's gone mixed build and not full tank, his slow won't do much so just use it for damage, but his Q will mess up yi and can't be dodged. Personally I usually save it for when he tries to heal, but that assumes that you are winning, otherwise use it to offset the fight, then when he does start healing, leave (if he is ahead) I don't think he can Alpha strike reksai's stun, don't know about rivens, but the knock ups are something else entirely. I don't play many of them, so it's hard to give good examples, I support champs like sion are easy to avoid with a well timed alpha, or atrox. So yeah, I used to think of Yi as a noob champ, but I notice that bronze players spam him, he falls out through silver and gold, but then he appears more when High level players use him because if you do use his skills right, he can be a monster
That said, I have used Alpha strike against Yi many times, letting him engage me near turret, so when he uses alpha strike, I dash or flash under turret, then start dropping some cc to keep him there ^^ But those are highly situational plays
If he is ahead, you probably can't just "leave" Yi, seeing that he outruns nearly everybody. ^ ^
Riven's actually extremely easy to outplay, given one is fast enough to read her telegraphs (admittedly a much more stretched given depending on ones ping)
If a Yi is engaging with his Alpha Strike without thinking, like using it near your tower while you still have multiple abilities off cool down (ESPECIALLY Movement AND CC), then the Yi your talking about probably just isn't at the skill level of using his Alpha Strike competently.
That or it's extremely early in the game relative to Yi's power spike, which means the Yi you're talking about is doubly retarded.
Lol fair enough. As I said, I don't know about riven, but I mean if I'm playing volibear, I can predict fairly early if I can "win" or not. Often I save my Q for the heal, shred his hp, and his ultimate wears off before either of us are dead, but if I see that at this time, my hp will be too low to win, then I use the Q early to buy time. It gives me just a bit more damage than him, and if he feels the need to heal, he gives me a chance. So when I say behind, i mean, in another 5 seconds I'll die, if I wait for Yi to start healing, I can leave, and being Volibear, killing me is not so easy and likely his ultimate will run out before he does. However in most other circumstances you are certainly right
As for the Yi dives, sometimes he can't help it (if you have a dash and flash, you can force him under turret from a fair distance, but very VERY risky play), but more of the time, it's because they're greedy and didn't "anticipate" the play At silver I often play voli top, and when I am losing I play right on the edge of the turret, letting the enemy poke me so I am within their kill range. But when they overestimate their chance for killing me, the throw, AA, run to turret, slow, flash, wait for turret to kill them combo works surprisingly often. I know at higher levels of play my opponents wouldn't give me such opportunities to outplay them so easily
Master Yi actually has some very complex strategies that can be employed. He has a very low skill-floor, but his skill ceiling is surprisingly high.
Yeah, I posted elsewhere that I noticed this more recently. The difference in skill with Yi's can be overwhelming sometimes, to the point where you thrash him one game, but in the next game with exact same match up you find yourself horribly behind
I have been trying to get better with him. Saving alpha strike for right before they use a skill shot has certainly helped. I still have trouble using his heal correctly though.
The simplified rule for negating abilities with Yi is: Is it hard CC or otherwise bound to shut you down significantly? Alpha Strike Is it raw burst and doesn't have any notable CC effects? Meditate
I will try that. Master Yi is very fun to use, and is one of the most badass characters. He is basically a jedi.
The difference between a Right Click to Win Yi and a Cowsep Yi is astounding sometimes haha.
would be my bet

is really strong in a lot of situations and just in general very safe. One or 2 damage items and you're a total beast.
all the split pushers I can think of that's best in certain areas
probably the best minion clear, sheen proccing, fastest running split pusher
probably the most relevant to a team fight while split pushing split pusher
is actually not the best tower faceroller in the game, don't let people overrating his late game fool you
but he's way up there good but again. OVERRATED AS FUCK
probably the most faceroll in every point of the game split pusher
just play udyr unless you're gonna yolo penta kill the team
best split push without even splitting split pusher
No one wants to say Tryndamere? He can easily 1v1 almost any champ in the game and has his spin away. Shaco's my favourite because his boxes act like wards.
Many games have been won (and lost) by a split push Tryndamere, he can literally push top all game, escape most of the time if he gets ganked by anything less than 3 guys, and can often take the objective even if he is ganked and dies. Once had a game where my team was well ahead, had two out of 3 outer turrets and reached enemy inhib mid. But once enemy tryn finished his core items, he just solo top all game. We couldn't bait the enemy away from their turrets, and diving often led to stalemates, while Tyr kept taking turrets. No one could safely go after him alone, and by the time they reached a turret to defend it, he was gone. Either tp bot or back mid defending with rest of his team. We were locked into a stalemate, even when we got inhib and were on the verge of finish, he had snuck around top, (respawn tp) and took our nexus turret. We eventually lost because we could not effectively stop him. He is for sure the best split pusher, that said... Reksai can wreck two lanes easy with his ultimate and TP Atrox is dangerous 1v1, safe and can often take objectives before you can kill him (and he can still escape) And when i used to play nocturne, I went Full ad and as (out of bronze I realised he needed a little tankiness) but with that build, I could take two turrets solo before the enemy could get close to me, and just swim away on a cloud of shadow A fed volibear can be funny, because he can get ganked by 3 guys and still kill them all and keep pushing, and if any more come, then the rest of the team can push instead
trynd, nasus, jax, nasus, udyr,yi,zed, trundle, yorick pick one splitpush till your heart's content
To be fair this is probably the one thing hes good at.
is most likely the best split-pusher.
,
, and
are very effective split pushers as well. As for best 1 vs 1,
,
,
, and
are extremely effect 1 vs 1 champions.
If Aatrox gets ahead, he is a really good splitpusher
Did everyone in this thread forget
??
Depends on the stage of the game, both team comps, and how many items you have or don't have.
