Cultural thing. People who theoretically COULD be awesome at League get pushed away toward other sports/hobbies because of gaming stigmas. Look at any thread where skill comes up; one person will say to the other "get a life". Very few in NA really believes League IS life, like Basketball could be, so with so little competition stagnation occurs

thats bastically how it is... also some people these days dont even think that streaming and gaming is becoming the cultural norm so they just have not changed torwards it i mean its slowly getting there like how blizzard did their heroes of the dorm thing but people in Na generally dont focus on gaming alot unless they have a okish incom...... like if i wasnt forced to get a job i could spend alot of time playing league and not be bad at league
