Damage is out of control, make required bans in mid ELO

This is just crazy, why do we cater to the autoattack play style of Master Yi, Yasuo, Vayne, Olaf, etc. to dominate over armor? If you're a little ahead or even with an autoattack champ you typically fall behind every time. The jungle clears are so easy for most of these champs they are as healthy or healthier than a tank jungle. Even in lane most players will go almost even but when that AA champ hits 2 items they gain a huge advantage that can't be overtaken by tank stats. Not only that true damage is off the charts on so many of these characters with conqueror and such.

You clear faster, push lanes easier, and kill turrets faster tank stat just can't compete with the utility that damage provides. This makes it so if you build tank you will naturally fall behind in every scenario. There is no more skill in autoattacking than there is tanking a hit it's the same process click stand next to the character. This is obviously a bit different for ADCs because typically they are always going to be part of the meta and are just part of the meta that should be in it. If needed ADCs should just have a built in way of dealing with tanks which some do like Vayne and Kai'sa.

So what do tank provide? Peel and CC the problem is that relies on someone to actually do the carrying. It's wholly unsatisfying to play a tank right now because you are completely reliant on someone not screwing you. This is better in the higher Elos where people follow up CC and act predictably.

Riot needs to stop thinking about the top 10% of players and actually make tanks or just defensive gear more viable again.

Tanks are supposed to be absorbing damage. Atm you can't do that with almost any tank even at 6 items if your enemies have 5. You are just not allowed to be tanky, especially vs AD, armor just feels meaningless. So they are better off going full damage and hope to oneshot someone before they die.

Also, 10% of top includes something like gold 1 I think. What I mean is, its the 0,5% they actually cater to. If that

tanks in general need to stop being bulky assassins vs carries (nukes to half or more then team cleans rest of hp with a execute move) they need more team based abilities instead of 'just' aidsy peel. you dont know how horrible peel feels as a assassin player you scream internally how they dont need peel because of their drain tanking/halo shields they already have with also a cleanse built into scimitar. why does AD get all these cool gadgets similar to 007 from Q. (besides that rant about adcs) tanks should have some inspiration buff aura with slows and conditional stuns, Alistar W stacks requires full stacks to stun as a example. not these twitchy IF I PRESS R OR W YOUR EITHER GONNA DIE OR GET THROWN A MILE AWAY OR INTO DANGER WITHOUT CONSENT 'cough cough' displacements.

I agree. Lets make tanks do more damage then carries and be immortal at the same time, while adding a passive to everyone who rushes sunfire 1st item that their CC lasts 55% longer so that they can lock people down with the skill-less expression of their kits, and lack of brainpower needed to play literaly any of them.

Lets make Annie R have the same range as Xerath Q aswell.

And lets make Ryze E spread on first cast, globaly, and proc off of his Q.

Don't be stupid. You wanna carry, play a bruiser. You wanna get carried? Play a tank & peel your carry. It's simple as that. Tanks damage should be gutted due to the fact their kits are so one-lined and require little to no skill expression in landing their CC's that it's just ridiculous.

Malphite? Press R. Enemy has no flash=60% hp gone if they're a mage/adc. Ornn? R-R for 20% of max hp & a guaranteed knockback that is practically unmissable. Although, his Q/W/E are kind of skillshots. Mundo? Press R, spamm Q + right click the enemy Sejuani? Hit Q (really hard to miss), get stun, freeze, yay you dealt 50% hp (and that is if you miss the ultimate) Amumu? Flash-r if you miss the Q. Damn, outplayed son, 30% hp from just R, and rooted, better make it one shot on top.

There's literaly no tank in the game that has any skill epxression in their kit. Literaly, none of them. Most of their CC is easy to land, they actually DO DAMAGE, when they're building CHEAPER, DEFENSIVE items, and the only counter to them are either Conq or True-damage-carries.

And it is actually disgustingly sad, that you need an ANTI-TANK Keystone, to be able to BEAT a tank. And it was needed, because the only other solution was gutting the tank's damage.

So make a decision. Nerf tanks damage to 0, and make them immortal, or let them get melted in 3 seconds, but do damage. It's simple.

I feel like a boss tank with item 3091 item 3001 and various hp items and i survive a mages rotation with 15% hp poke q on a 2.8 second cooldown with 40% cdr though. Feel totally compensated for my Hit box being intentionally bigger than normal while getting hit with their fat hit box skills that still go through me to hit my allies because its not as if my goal is to be a front line sheild for my team and soak the damage so that they dont have to.
