Khell DarkWolf1 votesIt went by your match making rating. I did my placements and got placed into Gold 4 after I ended Season 4 at gold 4.
Clearly you tanked during the pre-season or because your current Ranked rating was at silver 5 and close to the bronze match making rating players your MMR was actually floating their in bronze.
Retillin1 votesRemember, you can have a MMR much higher or lower than your league ranking. I know two people (one in G3 and other in S1) that play with/vs plat people all the time.

Well lets hope. The last thing I want to play with is AFK bronze players..that was the whole point of busting my ass and playing hard for the 10 game promo series..
