Some QoL buff suggestions

So, I was just thinking of some QoL suggestions for champions, and here's a list of ones I came up with:

Anivia - Put a visual effect on Frostbitten characters. If someone just got out of your ult, and someone else slows them, or something, it might get confusing, so a small effect might make it easier to know when to E. Annie - Might seem small/insignificant, but maybe it would be nice to have an arrow pointing towards Tibbers when he's out? Brand - Like Anivia, maybe a more noticeable effect on burning enemies? JarvanIV - Give a visual effect to any ally in range to get the flag buff. Janna - When a tornado is charging, place a little arrow for Janna to see where it's pointing Graves - Change the aiming thing for his Q from a cone into something like TF's Q Katarina - This might just me, but a lot of the time when I finish someone with W, I accidentally double cast it, and it goes on CD. If it's not just me, maybe set the CD to something insanely low, like, .1 seconds instead of a complete reset? KogMaw - I don't play Kog, so this might be there now, but I don't think so - when you put the mouse over his passive, maybe show how big of an AOE the explosion is? Malzahar - Like Katarina, I have problems with double casting his ult sometimes. This might just be me, but maybe set a small delay where you can't turn it off - something like, .15 seconds. Nocturne - Allow him to adjust the range of his Q (Like Shen's taunt) so that it doesn't always go over jungle walls. Also, a visual effect on enemy units effected might be cool - less necessary though, since they have the trail following them. Pantheon - Give a visual effect to people who he'll have 100% crit chance on. Poppy - Maybe not so much a QoL change as it is a visual change, but my god, can we please get some sort of animation on her W? Right now it just looks like she starts moving fast. Maybe like, make her glow or something. Riven - Use her resource bar to show her passive charges. Rumble - Make the screen light up red very slightly when he's extremely close to overheating Urgot - Visual effect on enemies effected by passive

That's all I got for now! Thoughts? Good? Bad? I'm a genius? I'm awful at this?! Go ahead, I take all opinions.

FeralPony on using Riven's resource bar to show her passive (Source):

"We did give this a try and ultimately ended to not do this as it causes a number of consistency issues. It was a while ago and my memory on it is a bit fuzzy since I wasn't working directly on it but iirc what is came down to was the resource bar is fundamentally meant to function as a resource bar, doubling up on the buff bar goes against a pretty solid rule of thumb in UI/EX design which is limit special cases in UI and avoid duplication. Breaking consistency here has a huge long term cost that can be difficult to quantify.

From a gameplay perspective, the resource bar is meant to be a relatively stable and slowish moving bar showing a characters relative strength, current threat level, and reveal their general flow of attrition (how long it takes to be exhausted). Seeing a champion low on energy or mana means they have limited casts available to them and is a moment of weakness enemies can exploit. In this case for the opponent this bar would be incredibly misleading with Riven being most dangerous but also **most vulnerable **when this bar is empty. With some weird middle ground of when partially full you're most likely being killed.

The second important gameplay element is that there should have some level of consistency and flow in the resource bar. Rarely do mana or energy users dump their entire bar in one go, while Riven can cause the bar to fill and empty in only a second or two. It can be incredibly tempting to see an open spot on a UI and want to fill it (believe me I've been there, as a mechanics designer I want to cram as much information as I can pretty much everywhere) but there is a steep clarity and readability cost which increases exponentially each time you break. Sometimes this cost can totally be worth it, in this specific case we didn't feel it was. I would love to explore the space of custom UI elements only the player controlling the character can see/interact with though, and this seems like a logical candidate for that."

Katarina make a "CC ME PLZ" sign on top of her head when she ult, so people won't rage when she pentakill because everyone fail to CC her

Corki : Make the Visuals on his machine gun clearer. Oftentimes it will look like you're out of range but you'll still take Damage.

Irelia Her ult should use arrow indicators rather than a circle/targeting crosshair

Not to mention, Urgot and Poppy won't be receiving little QoL changes anytime soon - both are on the list for complete relaunch this upcoming year.

2 QoL buffs that I thought about before:

XinZhao - Have a counter above his abilities to keep track of his W passive. Malzahar - If the only target in range for a Malefic Visions bounce already has malefic visions, refresh the timer for that target rather than having the bounce go away.

Urgot already has a animation for his passive, but it's really close to invisible especially if you use E.

Also Poppy already glows when she gets W stacks, so adding ANOTHER glow for her W active would look terrible

I like this post, some suggestions seem very interesting ^^

My god someone who actually understand what a QoL change is. Bravo sir.

Champs I play:

Kog -- that indicator would be more useful if it's while I'm in my passive Janna: I'd also love for that indicator to show how far the tornado will go and how wide it will be (both change, based on charge duration).

Tryndamere While ult is active, screen tints red a bit. Rammus His W and R, like his Q can be reactivated to cancel. Now accidentally taking blue during buff transfers shouldn't be an issue. Twitch Indicator for contaminate now properly matches the actual range

for jarvan, there should be a little shield thing that appears i think, for malz there's something in place that keeps him from moving immediately after casting the ult, nocturne, that sounds like a pain in the rear for all other situations, that would make pantheon ridiculously strong, it would be like giving darius an indicator on when to ult, poppy, her hammer glows and becomes brighter the more stacks there are, for rumble, watch your bar, it's really not that hard, urgot, there's these green circles coming off you, nearly half the things you listed already exist

No to kat's changes. That's your own fault for spamming a skill. .1 seconds could mean the difference between one more tower hit and then your dive became fatal because of you 'QOL' change.
