Anivia is UNPLAYABLE

Hello riot and league of legends players I'm one of the rare Anivia players in this world and I noticed one thing: Anivia became UNPLAYABLE. Anivia is a champ really hard to play like a pro since the beggining, but now you nerfed this champ making it unplayable... Let me exlain my feelings: Anivia is a champ without escapes (why not) but it dealt some damage making it not so bad in laning phase. Now since patch 6.23 in which Anivia got nerfed and not a bit, you can't play this champ anymore in the actual meta... Because if you can't place the Q, which is a skillshot not so easy to use cause of its low speed, you can't do anything in duel and in fights. Some people are going to say "no Anivia is not so bad, you can cast your ult then your E for some burst but for an AP mage this combo is bad because it just don't deal any damage actually... Moreover the actual meta including only champs with an high mobility like Talon or leblanc do not make Anivia an easy gameplay. So there are 2 possibilities to make this champ playabe again : -remake Anivia with a new set OR -do something with the damage so they are not so over powered in early but verygood in lategame so that Anivia can have a kind of impact in the game instead of dying all the time. My greetings.

Wait doesn't she have her wall so it's harder for people to dodge her Q?

I've been doing well with her. Shes annoying into mobile champions but you still can do something in there. Just drop your ultimate on them and put a wall behind them, if they don't react fast enough in the next 1.5 seconds throw an E at them, if they dash out of it then you can try it again when your ultimate comes off CD since Anivia's ult has less CD than most mobile champion's escape, plus you can try to bait their escape out early with your Q.

I've been doing scaling CDR runes (15% at level 18) + the 5% from Mastery and rushing item 3003 item 3027 item 3165. Last patch I would never bother with CDR on Anivia but now with the decrease in CD on her wall and E this patch I felt that CDR is now pretty good on Anivia. Plus with your ultimate getting maxed size quicker, it helps to have low CD for it in team fights (at max CDR E is 2.4 seconds, and Ult is around 4 seconds).

As much as I salute your support for anivia, I do not realy agree with what you have to say.

First, that poll is biased in that you can not state that you like the changes or have another opinion about how the problem should be handled. (Personaly both of your options sound horrible to me)

Next, I do not think that anivia is uplayable, apart from all jokes aside that you can pick her still, she is still dealing the same damage in case your enemy is doing misstakes frequently. That being said, the higher of an elo you are, the harder it will be for anivia to apply said damage. I am not sure how far this problem extends, but looking at pure values and seeing the trend of my games I have played, anivia won't be a good choice in any higher elo (dia+) right now. It may even become a problem in plat, but so far I have no indicator for that.

Against, silver, gold, etc. she is still doing well I would say. ( I can not realy state this without a little reminder that this patch has not set itself properly. If everyone is used to the changes we can talk again.)

Also, you should try to correct your spelling and grammar in such a post. English may not be your mothertongue (neither is it my ), but at least spelling errors like "exlain" could be avoided. It is in fact quite hard for me to truly understand what you are trying to say.

Moreover, if I understand you correctly, it seems you do not have the know how of anivia you would need to understand her overall problem in this patch and how to tackle it.

Let me explain: Her e dmg is just as high as it was bevore ( apart from the 50 flat dmg nerf about 2 month ago) It just became harder to apply. In low elo this should not realy bother any good anivia player, as the misstakes done by enemies in that divisionrange are not going to abuse this fact. Her abilities did not get direct nerfs at all. The only real downside this patch ( even though it is a game and playstyle changing one in high elo) is the delay and unreliability your e got due to the change of how it gets empowered with her ult. Apart from that she either was buffed or kept as she was ths patch. This means her overall performance in teamfights got unchanged ( lower cd in exchange for lower ult dmg and delayed e empowerment equal each other out in case your enemy is standing in your ult for too long) Her early pre level 6 is unchanged. Her post level 6 gameplay got nerfed overall. Not in her doing a lot less dmg(in theory at least), but in reliability and matchups.

To me it seemed you think she got nerfs overall. When in fact her reliability and threat to enemies was what realy received a nerf.

PS: please do not refer to anivia as "it". Even though her gender is her voice mostly, she is considered female and should be addressed likewise. It got me confused more than once in your post.
