Sylfarian's Guide to Warding the Rift!

So, as a support main, I get a little upset when I don't see my teammates taking advantage of their FREE WARDS, or buying pink wards to keep our jungle lit up.

So I made a map! http://i.imgur.com/j0yGUPw.jpg

Pink dots represent Pink Wards, Yellow dots, Green Wards. I've taken the liberty of labeling certain wards with Champion roles, these wards are the "Crucial to Survival Wards". They give optimal vision while also watching high traffic areas. Each role has one Pink and one Green ward location. There is no reason why these should not be warded at ALL times post level 9. All Roles, please use your extra ward if you are roaming to place offensive/deep wards, or if you are on the defense, save it, to make sure you keep full ward coverage at all times.

Now, all these ward locations should be looked at defensively. At the same time, all these positions can be used offensively by the other team. So ignore labels if you are blue team, looking at the red team side. Or the opposite if Red.

So in summary, buy a ward, save a life.

Concerning pink ward placement in the bot red side tri bush, I prefer to put it as shown below;

The pink line on the left side shows line-of-sight from your spot. It's super easy to get wards out of its vision there or hide.

If you place it at the very corner as depicted by the red dot, you'll get more vision in that direction in order to see more wards placed back there and give slightly more warning when someone is walking around the corner. Ranged can often also kill your pink from over the wall if it's in the center of the bush, but have to come around the corner if it's farther at the edge.

I'm only going to discuss that one because it's a pet peeve of mine, but similar placement may be taken into consideration for other bushes.

You are 100% correct, and that's usually where my ward ends up. I could have been more precise in my placement on the map. I was mostly just going to bush area, as opposed to internal bush placement.
