ok so about leaving a game

i dont see why players get punished for leaving a game when its 30min into the game your team is inting and not listening to you and a surrender vote failed 3-4 times by this point, like what point is there to even stay in a game that cannot be won.

sure there is not shame in surrendering a game you cannot win, just admit you cannot win and move on to the next game, do not make players suffer because you want to get the full amount of exp and ip, which is like 5% more from surrendering, which is not worth it at all.

I myself, have let games when i have more important things to do such as life and getting together with people when games are not winnable at the 30min point in the game with several surrender fails.

Hey Riot, how about instead of punishing me, or other players that leave the game when it gets to the point of the game is just to long, there is no win in sight and your team is starting to troll even worse, that would be a great idea other then a 10ban system that just makes everyone made in draft/ranked.

And why should you have the freedom to unilaterally decide when the game is done?

Past the 30-40 minute mark, people are approaching full builds. Early kill and gold advantages start to fade when that happens. If you've survived to that point, it's reasonable in many situations to tough it out and try to stage a comeback. Especially in ranked.

well that could be further from the truth of what im talking about since im stating when you have a team thats is dumber then a pile of rocks that doesnt listen to you, or in general you are the only one with enough skill on the team to do anything.

what i am saying is not that players should wait until 30-40 mins to have an even game, no game is ever that simple since, and here is something for you to think about, players have different skills compared to each other, and when i have the roughly the same amount of skill and knowledge as the entire enemy team and my team consists of me trying to do something for 25min and 4 players inting all game and acting stupid because they refuse to listen or work as a team. I sure as hell will not want to stay in a game where there is no ground to be gained yet, losing ground for another 10-20min until they win regardless because you had to suffer through a game instead of surrendering out of it.

your logic is flawed when it comes to the complete unbalanced matchmaking the matchs, say, 5 siver 3-2 mmrs to 1 silver 3-2 mmr and 4 bronze 5 or unranked mmr players together that have zero skill compared to the other six that are match.

again leaverbuster should just ignore when players leave games that cannot be won when 3-4 failed reports are asked and a player leaves because they dont want to suffer through anymore of that joke of a game that should of been able to go either way.

You can't possibly expect a system to look at each game, make an assessment as to whether it's winnable, and then forgive people from abandoning based on that assessment. It's wildly impractical.

you clearly do not understand a single thing do you, i did say to just shut the game out at all.

there is such a thing as coding the current leaver buster system so that if there are X amounts of failed surrender votes but a certain amount of time in the game, then the system itself would just start ignoring penalizing players if they were to leave because they are getting to frustrated with how their team refuses to do anything to listen at all.

with how you clearly dont think, im going to let you in on a little secret, there is no shame in surrendering a game if it will become a loss if there is nothing that can be done about it, however if you can do something about it then dont surrender and try to win it. The same can be said about games that go on for 40min slowly coming to a loss and 7 surrenders have failed to go through. that was one of my ranked games a long time ago and i said the hell with this and left, i wasnt going to sit through a slow loss to just to get to a new game when it could have been a surrender. so i went for a 2 hour walk to clear my head and relax a bit because of that frustation.

this is why there shouldnt be a penalty when people leave after X Amount of failed surrenders at X min.

So, trolls can spam surrender votes every few minutes all game, then freely AFK. Got it.
