Malzahar Changes Suggestion 7.10

I main Malzahar and I really hate playing him now. Most matchups mid your voidlings get straight up destroyed, and his E damage feels really underwhelming, and if you miss your Q you simply do 0 damage.

So I came up with a few changes suggestions that would in my opinion make him a decent mid laner again, but make his support play worse.

W changes : Static cooldown = 1 sec >>> 0.5 sec Vodiling HP = 2 > 4 ( Auto attacks deal 2 HP damage, spells deal 1) Physical damage = 30/35/40/45/50 (+ 40% bonus AD) > 25/30/35/40/45 (+ 40% bonus AD)

Reasons: I hate the static CD and it halved would make him much better in the mid lane ( It is one of the things that destroyed him the most imo), it just needs to be reduced. Voidlings will still take 2 aa's to die and duo enemies will dispatch them easily, but they now wont die so easily mid ( It won't lead to AFK pushing because enemy mid laner can just aa them 2 times and kill them too if you are just pushing under turret). Reduced physical damage to make room for E changes i will list below, also it will make his support worse.

E changes: Mana cost = 60/70/80/90/100 >>> 70/80/90/100/110 Magic damage = 80/115/150/185/220 (+70% AP) >>> 90/125/160/195/230 (+75% AP)

Reasons: E is Malzahar's only reliable source of damage, and it does not do near enough damage for that to be the case. Buffing E damage and increasing its mana cost will reaward chaining E's with Q's even more, and support Malzahar will suffer from mana problems if he spams it.

Conclusion: I am afraid Riot won't address Malzahar in 7.10 so I made this to try at least something, but I feel that this is a decent way to fix him. What do you think, Rioters?

Anything, I'll take anything for Malz at this point. I played one game after the Voidling HP nerf and haven't touched him since. I absolutely love Malz but I just can't stomach these weak-ass Voidlings when they do all your damage.

They need to do something to his E so that the Adaptive helm and MR increases don't absolutely kill his role as a %HP damage over time mage.

I can understand the frustration with champs like Cass and Ryze who have abilities on low cooldowns but Malzahar's abilities have fairly high cooldowns and he relies on his ability to do a high amount of damage over an extended period of time. He's not an ability spamming mage nor is he a burst mage.

Malzahar can be fixed so that he works for Mid and Jungle, and his Voidlings can be nerfed for Support.

The key to doing that is to only allow his Voidlings to multiply for Jungle Camps, Dragon, and Baron or when he ults.

His W should be a 2 cast: Cast 1: Spawns 1 frenzy enabled Voidling with Hitpoints. (The fact that it cannot multiply vs champs is where the support lane gets what it needs). (But they still multiply for Jg camps)

Cast2: Drops the Void Pool.

The other thing they need to do for Malzahar is if his Ultimate's Suppress gets interrupted, it should convert to a slow for the remainder of the ult.

Alternatively, his W could be one cast:

W: Drops a Null Zone doing True Damage for any enemy standing in it. From the Center of the Null Zone, a single frenzy enabled Voidling with hitpoints will spawn. The voidling will only multiply vs Jungle Camps and Monsters, but not Champions. Grants "True Sight" of enemies it is afflicting to Malzahar and his Voidlings.

I think they need to shift his damage to his voidlings. His whole persona is a master of little minions, but when they die instantly and you run out of Mana then you feel like they are worthless... All they are right now is some extra damage for your full combo.

I say lower the base damage on all abilities, but have his voidlings scale really well, and have his other abilities add affects for his voidlings, like if a champion is hit with Q it spawns a voidling that will chase them, or if you hit them with E they gain bonuses.... They literally killed his voidlings because his whole kit was overloaded.

Make his voidlings really strong and have the rest of his kit week but suplimemtary.

Or maybe they could just give him a permanent voidling that won't attack towers or take tower agro, and won't go further than his Q range.... Or something....
