strongest mid lane champs

Im deciding on what champ to main mid lane this season, i used yas, fizz, akali, and leblanc the most, but now i know yas is not the best anymore, fizz and akali got heavily nerfed, im thinking mordekaiser, vlad, or malzhar could be good picks(im awake leblanc and ahri are top tier) im looking for a great mid laner, i know each has their pros, but im looking to see which one we will be least banned and counter picked,(also considered annie just because she is so strong mid) any input is appreciated
