AD Malzahar

I don't think this should really be a "Thing" or at least as strong as it is now ,I mean this is Malz who is possibly one of the strongest mages when played right. As it stands this is possible solely because of his voidling who has a 1:1 scaling on bonus AD but whats worse is after 7 seconds it gets an extra 50% on top of that and then shortly after that a 100% Attack speed boost. Now if the voidlings attacking was dependent on Malz being close It wouldn't be an issue, however with Visions he is able to send the Voidlings after the target while he is safely out of range, this makes him near impossible to fight 1v1 or even 2v1 in lane due to his AoE and Silence restricting damage output so much.

As far as a Fix goes, the ratio needs to be dropped, how far I don't know but it does need to come at a much higher cost then less damage in a CC heavy kit meant to normally lock down mages.

AD Malzahar;s voidlings evaporate if he runs into AoE, poke, or standard team-fight situations.

He's only really Swain/Ryze/Rumble/Mordekaiser/Vladmir/Cho'Gath/Singed levels overbearing in 1v1/2v2 situations where his voidlings can actually die at a ripe old age of 21. Or in URF, where he has 2,000 voidlings.

Otherwise - AD Malzahar is balanced, if not underpowered, due to the ways around his kit and how reliant he is on Voidlings to operate.

I have played Malzahar for for 4 years. 2 of them as AD Malz.

AD Malzahar is more balanced than people know. Yes, he can have 3 voidlings out at once. But one of them will die every 7 seconds if he has that many out. He also had to cast 12 spells to get there. And keep casting to keep them out. He's mana Hungry Like The Wolf.

His damage is high, under circumstance. He has to play correctly to do much of anything. Malz can be weaker in team fights. Or a freaking scary peel for an ADC.

Voidlings have a 1700 unit leash range. I'm sure you know how their targeting works too. Voidlings also only chase you if they have sight. Unlike Elise's spiders, or that darned Suicidal Sapling. Voidlings at early levels die to AoE, they can be CC'd, or feared, anything really.

The damage is not too high, he'll never have use of lifesteal, spell vamp, attack speed, crit, ect. AA's are useless to a point. So an AD malz has to do one of two things. Kite, or be a Bruiser.

AD Malz is like all other champs. Play the champion correctly, and you will be a God among mortals. His skill cap is just skyhigh compared to AP. (Because he sucks with zero voidlings out. )

they also scale off of his armor pen. item 3071 item 3035 and some high damage items can make your voidlings have way more ad than anyone on either team, but you'll be super squishy and won't have the mana necessary to get more than 1 voidling out until later in the game and you'll be almost useless without the voidlings out

Play AD Malzahar or NURF mode and you'll see why it's a "thing"
