RIP AP Kogmaw

Ap kogmaw just got deleted from the game. R got nerfed to oblivion and there is absolutily no way to succesfully play this champ as ap anymore. R doesnt deal increased damage to champion above 50% hp anymore, which complitely negates the previous strenghts of this champion, like pealing for your team before engage. w now gives huge boost to attack speed,BUT lowers your damage to oblivion against champions which just doesn't work even with all the on-hit items in the game. Rito, why? AP kogmaw was never that op, but i enjoyed playing it.

Yeah and this decision seems weird considering ap kogmaw was a very entertaining and popular pick during last season in the lcs. My suggestion would be the nerf the R slightly and buff W (attack speed buff) to balance this and keep kogmaw viable and fun to play.

He was fun, there are actually many champions in this game with easy to use tool kits, but they take skill in other ways. Some xerath players might be arrogant be like HURR DURR LOOK AT ME all my attacks are skillshots that means im a pro, and if you use talon or rengar who just point and click and auto land everything you're a noob hurr durr. But skill comes in many different forms not just landing skill shots. There was a reason why AP Sion wasnt played in major tourneys(besides i think 1 of them in S2) He wasn't super op, he was easy to use but not some super op badass.

If you want to build AP Koggy you're basically forced to build him as a weird hybrid marksman thing.

Nashor, Rageblade, Gunblade, ect.

It's a shame.

His Ult-focused AP builds have been destroyed, mostly because his Ult stacks last 10 seconds now.

AP Kog'Maw is still very strong; i think AP kog'maw is strong than AD- you have to build different items because the standard mage items are all gimp at the moment until Riot reverts the nerfs- this is a problem for all the standard mages not just certain AP kog builds- but if you go gunblade, nashor's tooth, grail and whatever then he is very strong

i dont agree at all. season 5 ap kogmaws strenght was the peal from R, now it does 50% damage. no itemization or reasoning can change that.

Kog is my favorite ADC and I have to say i'm actually glad they killed AP Kog. I hated seeing ADCs taking mid spots since mid is already overloaded with champs.

I almost want to stop playing League Of Legends because of this. I'm so glad there are other people who have realized they've completely destroyed AP Kog'Maw. Riot really needs to make another champion now, one to fill in the gap that AP Kog'Maw left behind in the wake of his utter annihilation.

Goodbye AP Kog'Maw. It was very fun playing you, but I guess some good things can't last forever. Goodbye.
