What do you like / hate about Annie ?

Hello guys, I am Neriad, french game design student and I am looking forward to spend the next summer with Riot for their internship program. I am currently working on a few things that I would give them in my application and I am today asking for your thoughts about a specific champion, Annie.

My question will be simple, what are the things you like or hate about Annie ?

What do you like when you are playing her ? What do you hate when you are playing her ? What do you like when playing against her ? What do you hate when playing against her ?

These questions are about Annie as a midlane mid range mage, not as a support.

The only problem I have is the 100% return on her Q farming, it makes it frustrating that an apc can out farm you early badly while harassing you heavily.

Tbh all the 450 champs are noob friendly and if played correctly can destroy, im just affraid of having a bear thrown on me and her stun otherwise her late game is insane but shes OK I guess

Ryze is NOT noob friendly at all. His passive is like quantum mechanics for most of my friends who are new to LoL.

They're supposed to be, they're what we all played when we first started this game. That's why I think they're all fine as they are.

I hate her E when I'm playing as her. I can never correctly estimate the goddamn length of that thing. When playing against her I'm always scared shitless about that tibbers stun.

Simply, I love Annie's death. Her cute childish quibble and cry, "unh, tibbers" it's soo cute. Lol, kinda makes her one of favorite squishies to kill!

I like:

Fire theme
Pet controller

I don't like:

Simple kit without any depth
Ult that is more about the burst than the actual pet controlling
Infinite zoning via passive

I wish she was more centered around controlling Tibbers and actually fun to play.

Hmmm... that's a good question :P

Now that I think of it, it might be cool if Tibbers actually chose a target himself that he would charge at and try to rip apart without Annie commanding him. When he starts attacking the target he enhances Annies capabilities towards that target somehow.

Example: Q - now a skillshot with a bit longer range R - throw Tibbers, Tibbers charges at the lowest health enemy champion and the third attack from Tibbers locks the enemy down (snare) for 1.5 seconds during which Annie's Q becomes a targeted spell against that target and deals extra damage. If the target dies, Tibbers will charge at another target.

Tibbers' movement speed would be increased drastically for 3 seconds when starting to charge at an opponent.

That wouldn't probably be the kind of pet "controller" (more like a pet owner) people would expect. But it also keeps her simple enough for beginner players to not feel overwhelmed with controlling two characters simultaneously.

Another more control oriented approach could be to just make Tibbers mimic Annie's spells. That would most likey require Q to become a skillshot. And I dunno if a spell casting bear is thematically fitting :P

What I don't like about playing against her: Easy farming with Q, targeted damage, targeted stun, tibberz cooldown going down while tibberz is up, tibberz lasting for FORTY FIVE FUCKING SECONDS.
