how to deal with a duo mid lane?

farm under tower? you should be leveling up faster than they are since they are splitting xp and you aren't. so you should actually pull ahead
I once tried TK mid with a malz. The aids catapult strat was insane. And TK has good movement speed that you can move a malz to ult at will.
Pushing is always fast because malz is malz, and TK ult roams are really good to cover up botlane or your jungler.
Honestly, in that situation, your sup should've abandoned bot and came to mid.
