Lose series even with only one lose on the first game?

So i got into my promos last night and decided i would play them today and went to play them and lost the first game and it ended my series with only one lose? i did some looking around and have been told if u dodge it would count as a lose, but i was about to play and my league client crashed so that counts as a lose? i don't think its fair that after getting from 0 too 100 lp and then the league client crashes that i have to pay a lose when i did nothing wrong and put all the time into getting up to 100 lp? that just doesn't make sense to me?

Did you dodge during your promos? That would count as a loss and end it.

It really doesn't matter in the long run, since dodges won't change your mmr. As long as you gain mmr by simply winning more games than you loose, you will climb eventually.
