. Totally forgot I had the TPA skin from a mystery gift. Is top shen still viable ? Is he still a split pushing monster? Has he gotten nerf hard in the past?
No, he got beaten by many champion in split pushing. And the teleport buff this season kind of negate the value of his ult.
If you consider a very passive laning phase with no payoff viable, then yeah.

Really depends on where you draw the line between "viable" and "not viable".
Shen's ok when played well. He can make game-winning plays if used well.
He's not 100% pick/ban material any longer and isn't top-tier, he has counter-picks to contend with and can be countered.

Yes, he is Viable. I actually just won a ranked game with him yesterday. The problem is, he is team dependent rather than just do your thing to win the game.
He's pretty good. He was better back when Renekton was super popular, since he was one of the few champions that could win a 1v1 lane vs. the dude, but he's still a decent choice. Hard to go wrong with a Global Ultimate+AoE Hard CC+Mobility.
Not top tier by any means, tho.

Nah he's pretty weak, and outdated.
His energy costs are horrible, he can't really lane against ranged top lanes.
