Since the beginning of preseason 9, we were given the new ranks, positional ranks and the removal of fifth division. It has changed a lot since then from the removal of positional ranks, which started on March 13th. I feel like adding back the fifth division could stabilize the rank system by balancing the matchmaking due to position ranks being removed. Since the difference between Silver 1 and Gold 4 is quite substantial (an example). The only reason it got removed was so that climbing would involve less grinding. There have also been times where some elos, the matchmaking is unbalanced. Take a Gold 1 - Plat 3, it could be possible that anyone in Plat 3 could be better or worse than they actually are. It could be balanced by having Plat 5-4 instead of Plat 4-3. I'm not sure but I believe that it could fix the LP gains and losses in Diamond elo if there are divisions 5-1. This is my solely my opinion and thoughts about it.

No it's not LOL. In fact most of the time, players in the first divsion of the tier below are better than, the players in bottom division of the tier above, that are on the verge of demoting.

They fucked LP gain in Plat+ that is/was the problem, imo. Like, I have just seen a hardstuck D5 player for the past seasons and now suddenly Diamond 1/Master, only playing decay game. Had to chuckle a bit when a Gold 1 player appeared there too.
