She was always viable in lcs, she's not a bad champion.

Her drawback is unlike zyra she is completely reliant on her team, which in lcs isn't that large of a drawback as you know your partners play style and can talk to each other.

most team comps have favored damage or more usage than just heals

as for zyra the nerfs recently which changed her plants targeting made it harder for her to zone as her Q can be easily dodged, she's still viable, still A tier just not as much anymore
