Cutthroat no longer silences, but slows a great deal, and everytime i see patch notes for him, i laugh. Hamstring, one of the most used names for major slows in almost every game, namely World of Warcraft Warriors, use it. I vote for the name change to be Hamstring, or something along the lines
I always wonder what kind of rubber bands and bubblegum they use to hold this game together when changing a simple name value is a multi part task that requires dedicated time.

it's been said many times on their threads since the change. they're either playing dumb, are ignoring it, or are genuinely blind.
For a legit name change you could always go with "Cripple", or something of the like. But I'm still digging foot stab.
Knowing Riot's track record, they'll go "Talon's E: Name changed to Hamstring. Slow reduced to 1% from 99% to compensate for name change buff."

Hamstring is really the most logical opinion Both "Hamstring" and "Cutthroat" refer to brutal, quick attacks that involve slashing a body part, usually from behind.
leave it at cutthroat, move the dot from Q to cutthroat instead of the slow(cutting a throat usually leads to heavy bleeding), get a short silence on Q(0.5-0.75sec would fit i guess)
Personally, I really like the name "Deadleg" for it.

I was thinking this same thing when they announced the removal of silence and in the patch notes commented about the cutthroat no longer being as awesome. I'm thinking "hamstring" dun duh duuuhh!!!

I heard they were saving "Hamstring" for Warwick overhaul.
Lets leave it as cutthroat, and instead of slicing their throat he just holds the knife at there neck which causes them to be unable to move for 1 second. (they can still cast spells.)
