Will it lag a bit more with the new voice chat updates

Hi, So i am a player who plays from outside of the USA because there are no servers for us, so among the servers to choose i chose NA because of language barriers. Well, enough of that. Straight to the point.

Since i play from a greater distance, increase in ping by the smallest of margin effects hugely in my game play experience. It hard lags with the slightest increase in ping.

So, the question is will the ping go a bit higher when the Voice Chat thingy hits live? If it will, by how much would it increase?
