Length of Pick/Ban Phase/Champ Select and not being able to start games

Hey there guys,

Just thought I would address an issue I am sure many of us are experiencing. With the new champ select, it seems that I cannot start a game to save my life. I will shuffle back and forth between Pick and Ban Phase, then get kicked back to queue because someone either dodged or forgot to lock their pick in, then back into the pick and ban phase and eventually make it to champ select, where I only meet my fate once again to be put back in queue. Maybe this is a temporary issue due to people not being used to having to lock in their picks, but I am unable to start games as promptly as I have before this. Could a harsher punishment for queue dodging be implemented? Possibly loss of more lp when dodging or maybe forcing the player to play a normal game before returning to ranked? I hope this problem can be taken care of in the near future, because I would rather not wait 20-30 minutes just to start up a game. If you guys have an suggestions on this topic let me know here!

make the "you now have to lock in your pick!" box much larger, auto-uncheck "don't show me this again" for players who fail to lock in, and also give it a cooldown before it can be closed so people dont just insta-click the X in the corner like i'm sure they do.

or just let it work like the old system once you pick a champion your good, dodge = no pick

sometimes the extra time before locking in was useful for mastery page editing or on rare occasions actually discussing things with the team but now that's out the window

that extra time was moved to the hover-over-your-champion-before-anyone-actually-picks-or-bans-anything that everyone so desperately wants to remove. and letting people not lock in just caused people to constantly wait out their entire timer not actually doing anything, just taking up more time and making the whole process slower.

You can still do that, you simply lock in before you're kicked....
