Leveling Up Champions?

Hello!

So I'm almost to lvl 30 and I just recently got my runes and masteries together since before this week I honestly had no idea what I was doing.

I play Warwick in jungle, mainly. That's the only champion I'm pretty much comfortable with. I've gotten him to level 5 Destroyer finally.

But I noticed one of the guys on my friends list has several champions he's leveled up, he has played all of the maps several times and has runes and masteries for certain champs and for AD, AC, etc.

My question is, what's the best way to get comfortable with several champs? I always do jungle. Sometimes bot and mid. Never top.

But I want to be pretty well rounded without bringing my team down because I don't know a champ well enough.

Should I start with bot games? Maybe Beginner mode?

Since you have an understanding of the game bots really wouldnt do you well. Playing Normal will help you a lot more since you will play with actual people. Bots are usually only for if you need the basic understanding of the game, or to test out champions you have no clue how to play (like how much auto attack they do normally, skills and their cooldowns, testing out skill shots, etc)

Well, you're already familiar with the jungle, so I would suggest you start there. Try playing some top laners who can also jungle in the jungle. Once you know them somewhat well move into playing top lane.

Top lane also has many champions who do very well in mid and bot lane. Once top lane is a comfortable space for you start learning those champions, and eventually move over to those lanes. Just keep learning multi-lane champions in your current comfort zones, and then use those champions to move into unfamiliar territory.

I'm a top lane main by the way, so my opinion is very top lane focused, but this is what I suggest to my friends when they start playing.
