99% of remakes are caused because someone's connection is bad or someone's power goes out, so why must those people lose lp because of a random occurrence? believe it or not its common for someone to have a good connection one minute and then have it spiking to 600 ping the next.

The person who disconnects at the beginning of the game, the one behind the possibility of a Remake, is held as the only accountable party of the Remake; it will appear as a loss on their history and of course they will lose LP if it's ranked.
