Talon jungle viable?

So this would not work optimally in competitive play I think, but for solo Q I'm having great success. It sounds silly, but with the changes to the jungle it seems to be a decent option. I use 21-9 masteries, regular AD runes, start with machete + 2 pots, and start with Q (lower CD and more dmg than W). I go to the large monster closest to bot lane for the best leash, and smite it as soon as it spawns to get the bonus for the max time (either the stun from the golems or poison from the frog). Then I go clear blue/red (depending on side) while trying to dodge some of the dmg from the buff by walking to the edge of it's range. Then I go clear the last remaining camp on that side of the map, since my smite is just coming off CD. This gets me to lvl 3 with 450 gold. Then you can back and buy the trailblazer, go clear the other buff and look for gank potentials. Other things I do: -Use the auto-Q-auto animation cancel on all the buffs -Max W-E-Q -You can gank pretty good with E/W slows and gap closer. If you get the wraith buff (let's you see if you are on a ward or not), it's pretty easy to get a good gank off even pre-6 sometimes. -I like to lane-gank a lot after 6 by using ult right at the end of their vision (so they won't see the shurikens from the ult), and try to get into range and E them so the second part of the ult hits them. You can do 3/4 HP to an ADC with just two longswords at lvl 6 usually with R-E-W-auto-Q-auto -I like to build ravenous hydra after finishing my warrior trailblazer, because it helps clear camps, does AOE damage that is good with your W/R, and the active works really good with your E. Then I like to get LW for more armor shred/dmg. My last two items usually come down to Black Cleaver, Blood Thirster, GA, Banshees, or Zhonyas (zhonyas is like a GA with lower CD sometimes). Well anyway has anyone else tried this? It works surprisingly well. When ahead it is really easy to snowball lower elo games beyond belief, I don't know of another jungle who can do it so well other than master yi. When even you are pretty strong and can do a lot of dmg/your job pretty easily. When behind it's a little rough, but you can still 100-0 an adc mid game if you catch them out. Overall my record is like 4-1 so far. I tried using skirmishers instead of trailblazer, but you need more sustain so trailblazer is too good early on. Late game you can think about switching them out though I think.

Yeah his ganks are awesome but if a Lee Sin decided to walk into your jungle, good luck.

Same with me. He has pretty good utility for ganking.

Problem with junglers like Talon, Zed, Rengar, Karma and the likes are all the same.

They CAN jungle, but they are either better in other positions OR they can get easily invaded.

Sure a talon can clear the camps, albeit a bit slow, uses a bit more potion but overall sure he can jungle. But the really sucky part comes when a Lee sin or udyr decides to invade your jungle, then what will you do with a farm hungry assassin who relies on getting fed and early lead?

Theese type of junglers are incredibly risky, cuz should u get killed just once pre 6 minutes in ur own jungle u are fucked for the rest of the game. And that is why this mostly works on lower Elo games.

Also max Q 2nd on talon and not E.

Hmm but I feel like dealing with an invade is the same as using khazix, master yi, etc.

I agree it is risky, but I think it could be a thing, especially for solo Q like I said.

Q>E is very interesting, I looked it up and I see why you said that. More damage for burst, could be pretty good. The E CD would be 8 seconds less though, which I know will hurt mid/late game a lot. So many times having that E CD being so low has helped me. Will try it out, thanks
