Proposed increased ward mechanics

All right first time posting soo... cool. and be nice. Long time player though. I have seen the ward wars of old and while they were a little silly i do feel that the 3 ward limit is a little restrictive. the scuttlers and wolves smite buff help alot with common ward locations but here is my idea.

Buying or upgrading warding items increases your ward limit. So keep the 3 ward limit starting off. And then if you upgrade your yellow trinket to the stealth ward dropper item 3361 your limit gets upped to 4. And also up it by one each for sightstone item 2049 or ruby sightstone item 2045 . so if a champ were to purchase these 3 upgrades you could potentially place 6 wardsitem 2044 at a time. Alternately if you upgrade the yellow trinket to the vision ward dropper item 3362 you could have two pinks item 2043 down at a time.

Now this would probably necessitate a change the the sweepers item 3341 so that there was a more effective way to clear the increased wards. no thoughts on that yet but would love to hear some feedback form the community on this idea.

Thank you much

They decreased the limit for a reason. So that everyone had to ward instead of just one person.

I kind of like this, because if I play support I always place too many wards so that the first one disappears. (I ward as other roles too but then you don't have an 'Here are 4 free wards, but you can only place 3' item. How about this red trinket change: 'If a ward is revealed using this, the cooldown is halved'

I like that idea for the red trinket. Even if they don't use my idea lol. Rewards people for guessing the right brush to sweep.

Yes thats exactly why they implemented the ward limit in the first place. supports were relegated to only placing wards, and could basically buy nothing else. There were many people who said that buying a sightstone was not enough and that you still had to continue to buy green wards. and there would sometimes be full on team fights to protect ward coverage rather than over actual objectives.
