LP loss due to accidental disconnection (let's find a solution)

This is the second time that I have lost LP due to my computer crashing, even though we won the game.

I am glad that there is a system put in place to punish players who leave and ruin games but when I am the one carrying the team and I d/c for a few mins and come back, still full item/ close to it and get a triple kill to end the game, only to receive a loss of LP, yea, it sucks. So, instead of being at 40lp, I'm now at 0. The second game that this happened, I reconnecting knowing I'm going to lose lp. Playing 20 more mins, trying your best to win for the team while knowing you lose lp no matter what is a big slap to the face.

All I ask is that there be a system put in place for example, once you have a certain amount of contribution, you are spared from LP loss. Or, you have to play a certain percentage of games to avoid the lp loss. At the very least (I still won't like it but better than what we currently have), no loss of LP but no gain either.

Any other suggestions would be cool, too.
