Why I don't feel like playing League much anymore

Games like this are the reason I don't play League that much anymore...

We had control of the early game, MF and I fought really hard to press the advantage and kill Vayne over and over again. She died 8 times. Sure, Garen fed Yorick but we basically had that under control and then Vayne does essentially nothing and wins the game just because of time.

You are utterly powerless against this, Vayne is the ONLY champion that I know that can die 8 times and be behind all the way through the game but still be able to win. If anyone else fed that much, they would be near useless.

It is this kind of blatent favouritism that draws me to other competitive games like Overwatch or Heroes of the Storm because this game just isn't that fun anymore and its only going to get worse in the future with the removal of pink wards.

Vayne just has it so easy, there is no strategic building (Vayne's build the same thing every game) and no meaningful decisions and the player playing them can be utterly bad and yet still win the game out of luck. This isn't the league I signed up for. I signed up to practice and get better, not win/lose based around luck.

This is true of most of the reworked champions who had a lot of versatility removed in order to favour their "role" in the meta and the choice and diversity in how you build things seems overall LESS then when League started. Riot are repeatedly taking options away with most reworks.

The refusal and general ignorance of the community about Vayne is one of the most toxic examples of denial that I have ever seen. You have people who will happily shout death threats at you if you feel that Vayne is too easy and too powerful and too forgiving (lack of any real cooldowns).

Games like this, kinda make me glad that I don't play League much anymore.

You have no one to blame but yourself and your team. You allowed the enemy team to stall out until it reached late game and the game became Vayne's playground. By contrast, Miss Fortune is one of the ADC lane bullies that fall of a bit (when compared to other ADCs) in the late game. Whenever you killed Vayne, you should have taken a victory in the form of a drake, or bot tower, or roaming to mid getting them fed as well. Anything to end the game before 30 minutes and letting Vayne do what Vayne does.

I know this because i had the same issue once.

you have to make sth out of your kills. more than just going to base and spending that 300 Gold.

when she is down, get a drake or spam ping Tower. Roam to other lanes, get the towers there.

Do this as long as she is still useless. Don't give her any chance to come back. When you just kill her over and over again, that's not doing anything.

Try to get every objective you can and finish when you can.

This is just my opinion, but I think Vayne is meant to be a late game carry. She's supposed to be weak early game, be okay mid game, but then be strong late game.

Similar to Tristana who is also a late game carry and thrives better the longer the game takes.

She does have some ridiculous power I will give you that much (stealth + true damage can be a pain to deal with), but her late game strength isn't that absurd considering that's what she's meant to do if I remember.

Even then, most champions can bounce back late game even if they were behind. Since they'll still get gold regardless if they're 1/1 or 1/8, they'll still manage to get enough items by the time late game hits to do damage and be a threat. Not to mention Vayne at that point was worth less than others, so focusing her wouldn't net your team much gold to keep a lead when entering late game.

Just my opinion though. I do hope she receives some balance tweaks when they update the stealth mechanic to offer more counterplay, but I don't think she's worth quitting the game over /shrugs
