Why Smurf?

I wonder why players who already higher levels, make a new account and then come play beginners again? Ive had some really positive experiences with this and some negative ones. Last night I died 5 times in a game, im new and i suck and it sucks. And some turd on my team decided to sit there and heckle me. I get it, heckle me I suck. But then after nicely saying im sorry dude please back off you are in 30 and under relax. At the end of the game after getting creamed he or she decides to go back in the channel and REPORT me for bad behavior.

So then I ask, if you are so amazing and good, why come down to the low levels, and play with beginners if the beginners who suck are only going to piss you off to a point of no return, so much so you become a giant D?!

I guess i dont get the point of going back to it if you had already spent all the time going away from beginner?

I have a couple "smurfs." I don't enjoy beating up on new players and I really just want to hit 30 so I can play people at my level.

totally understand, I dont mind being beat up, esp against a really sick character or team. So smurf on, now that I know there is a purpose to it, and some people are just dicks i wont take offense.

Those kind of smurfs generally get trashed at their own elo so they smurf to feel better by trashing lower levels.

Ahh okey, ive had some really awesome upper level people who are very helpful and nice. its very refreshing...hopefully they continue to out number the Giant D's of the low levels! thanks for the reply

They're pretty rare, but don't let that get you down, if it comes to the worst, make love to the mute button.

A suggestion well heard! I will do that thanks!

well alot of fairly bad players (like litteraly some of the worst in the community) make them so they can "feel like a god" or something along the line because they cant do good against the people in thier ranked division and end up makeing the new player expirience terrible. when on the other hand people like me make smurfs to help people learn the game (what they thould build or "X" champion, where to ward ETC). i try to only play support or jungler and play really sloppy so im not really doing much in the case of messing up the game for the other team and i only play normals after my time in bots runs out

TL:DR most smurfs are really bad in comparison to people they would normaly play with so they go after new players

this is why i say fuck smurfs every time i see them ally or enemy. jsut go normals. stop preventing us from climbing as our enemies. we have enough issues between the toaster riot severs and cancer inducing feeders we get every game.

the nubmer of 1/19 or 3/10 adcs that ive seen. or the sheer number of players who just refuse to use teamwrok.

oh and just had my 6th game with some one i blocked. still cancer inducing like 4 of the 5 others

I personally am leveling up a second account to work on new roles and champions I don't want to test out on my main. I don't like normals so a "smurf" is a good option for me. That's just why I do it though. I don't understand ppl who play their main role or favorite champions in a smurf account.

There is no meta for the new players, so you can play any role everywhere, also duo top is fun.
Also in higher elo you will probably get reported for trolling, if you build runaans or ap/tank items on marksmen.

I like trying new roles from the ground up so I made a smurf so I can relearn some at a slower pace. I also like to mess around and play things that normally I'd get criticized for. I once carried a team as AD nunu on my smurf xD

Shorter queue times, easier games, and their main account being banned are the reasons why people smurf.
